Online Master of Science in Clinical Informatics & Patient-Centered Technologies

Annual Meeting

While most of the Master of Science in Clinical Informatics & Patient-Centered Technologies is online, you are encouraged to attend one weekend meeting per year at the University of Washington in Seattle. The Annual Meeting usually occurs the weekend before autumn quarter. Except for this yearly weekend, you can complete the entire CIPCT program remotely.

At the Annual Meeting, you’ll attend sessions about the degree program and the graduate school, and participate in several training activities. You’ll also hear from guest speakers who will share insights about career development, current research and advances in the informatics field.

The Annual Meeting gives you the opportunity to meet your classmates before you begin your coursework and then to reconnect at the start of your second year. Our graduates report that this in-person experience contributes to a greater feeling of connectedness with your cohort and makes your online interactions more personal and meaningful.
